A powerful long-lasting mould inhibitor (when added to an existing product e.g. paint) which inhibits the unsightly growth of mould on to the surface it is applied to. Mould Defence forms an enduring film that will not change the look or feel of the substrate to which it is applied. Mould Defence is recommended to be used in areas where high moisture is present e.g. Bathroom, Laundries and Kitchens, however for peace of mind can be used throughout the whole house. Mould Defence can be added to a wide range of products including paint (water based and solvent), timber oils/stains, textured coatings, grout, mortar and adhesive.
• Water based and solvent based paints, oils and stains: Add 5mL per L of paint/stain/oil.
• Mortar, Grout, Textured Coatings, Fillers and Adhesives: Add 5mL per kg of ready to use product
Mould Defence is added to the finish prior to applying, it is not to be applied to affected areas on its own. Ensure the surface the finish is being applied to is clean, and clear of any mould or mildew, this is important as Mould Defence will not kill mould present, however it will stop it from growing back. Where mould is present, a suitable mould wash must be used prior to applying a finish dosed with Mould Defence
